Herzliche Glückwünsche Deutschland!!!

Today, Germany won the FIFA Women's World Cup! It was 2 nothing against Brazil (always the mighty contender, no matter what gender). Brazil even missed a penalty shot from inside the box!!

Warning: homemade video may cause dizzyness and/or nausea.

ESPN Highlights:

Brazil did play better overall (more shots on goal, better offense, much better possession, although more fouls) but in the end it was Germany's consistency and killed defense that won them the title, and deservingly so.

And sadly, some people didn't even know that a women's FIFA division even existed. Shame on them. (Another reason why I've posted about it!)

As it stands I've finally moved from Cuggiono to Legnano, where my school is located.

Love the candid shots. Here's Dennis, one of our German friends from Dortmund, with his better half, Anja, missing that night!

So I'm a deserter-- or, the euphemism for that, which is

a mover and a shaker. Haha. Who knows. All I know is that I can't stay still for very long!

The going away party was a smash!! In fact, I made like a Hefty Bag and got trashed. Hahah. Fun part was when Ori played Maracaibo:

My mom sent me these links to two Italian songs called "Daniela" the other day:

By the way, my sister-in-law is prego, the baby is due in April (make it a girl, yeaaa!!!) so I may be back for a short visit in May since I'm allowed 15 days leave for important family reasons, etc.

Ugh, back to packing. My luggages weight 70lbs each!!!! Poor Michi is going to have a blast with me dragging them from Schonefeld Airport back to his Mitte apartment.
